International Students

Our internship programme in collaboration with the Luke society, USA is designed to give qualified premed students an opportunity to experience in international Christian medical missions for a period of 8 weeks to 6 months.

The premed internship does not only prepare student for a career in medicine, it also allows them to contribute as volunteer to health initiatives. The premed internship helps them decide whether or not a career in medicine is right for them.

During their internship period, they can observe, ask questions and assist seniors in fields such as general surgery, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics Community health and many more.

They go on rounds with doctors, get hospital experience, and look into a doctor’s life. The internship also enhances their knowledge and prepares them for the pre-med exams for admissions and also a special focus is on leadership.

We have had several students from Northwestern College, Wheaton College, Jefferson College, Drake University and many more.
